Chapter One
The Heart Behind Wumpelworld

Every adventure begins with a story
Rebecca Schätzmüller is a children's author, storyteller, dreamer, and mother of four who lives with her family in Sweden.
She has always loved stories.
As a child, she could spend hours in imaginary worlds. As an adult, she never stopped believing that a little magic still exists — especially in nature, in family adventures, and in the way children see the world.
The Wumpels Began With a Name
Shortly after Rebecca's youngest son Louis was born, she started calling him all sorts of funny little names. She has always loved inventing playful nicknames, and one day, a very special one appeared:
Tiny Kakawumpel
The moment she said it, the whole family fell in love with the name.
And somehow, it felt as if Tiny had always been there, quietly waiting to be discovered.
Years later, Tiny was joined by his sister Milli, inspired by Rebecca's daughter Milla. Together, they slowly grew into the heart of Wumpelworld — a magical world filled with mushroom houses, hidden forest paths, magical treasures, and wonderful adventures.
Inspired by Real Adventures
Many of the stories were inspired by real family adventures. Long walks through forests and meadows. Pockets filled with leaves, flowers, feathers, and tiny treasures.
Moments when a simple stick became a royal friend, a dandelion became sunshine, and an ordinary path became the beginning of a great adventure.
The Heart of Wumpelworld
Through Wumpelworld, Rebecca inspires children and families to spend quality time together, step outside, and fall in love with nature again.
To explore.
To imagine.
To collect tiny treasures.
And to remember that some of life's greatest magic is hidden in the smallest things.
✨ And somewhere deep within the Wumpel Forest, more Wumpel adventures are already waiting to be discovered.
